18 März 2024

We are thrilled to announce our institute's recent participation in the esteemed AvioSE 24 conference held in Linz, Austria, on 27th February 2024, where we showcased our recent advancements in the software development area. At the forefront of this showcase was our presentation on the software development lifecycle of safety-critical applications in the ELAPSED project, marking a significant leap forward in our field. The conference, focused on Software Engineering in the aeronautics sector, provided a platform for industry leaders and innovators to exchange insights and unveil cutting-edge technologies. Our institute's presence at AvioSE 24 underscored our commitment to pushing the boundaries of aerospace innovation.

During the event, our colleague Purav Panchal presented the latest enhancements and refinements made to the DO-178C/DO-331 based process-oriented build tool. These advancements are related to the software architecture design and testing methodologies like Processor-In-The-Loop simulations. The presentation included application of the ELAPSED project: the multilevel battery controller.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to push the boundaries of Aeronautical Engineering and software development, shaping the future of aerospace technology.
