The INTERPRAEVENT specialist congress took place for the ninth time from June 10 to 13. This year's event in Vienna built a bridge between research and practice and promoted discussion on the latest developments in natural hazard prevention. This year's topic dealt with the challenges of risk management in the wake of global warming and the need for sustainable social adaptation processes in the face of extreme natural disasters.
As part of the ADAPTNOW project, Dr. Ivo Baselt was represented at the conference with a scientific contribution. The article entitled CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION IN THE ALPINE TERRITORIES: RISK PERCEPTION, OBSTACLES AND ADAPTATION STRATEGIES can be read here.
