Lena Griesbeck, M.Sc.
Brief profile
Lena Griesbeck obtained her Master’s degree in Information Systems from the Technical University of Munich. During her studies, she focused on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and the intersection with sensitive data. She joined the research team in October 2025. In her PhD, she investigates machine translation using large language models (LLMs), with a particular focus on domain-specific fine-tuning and the impact of data anonymization on translation quality. Her goal is to better understand the interactions between privacy and translation performance and to develop new evaluation methods for this trade-off.
