FlowAesthetics project

A joint workshop marked an important milestone for the research and development project “FlowAesthetics,” carried out between the Chair of Information Systems—specifically Digital Process Management—and LASER ÄSTHETIK, a private aesthetic medicine practice with multiple locations in North Rhine–Westphalia (NRW). The kickoff focused on identifying key steps in the patient journey and internal support processes. On this basis, initial opportunities for digital support and the potential use of AI-based assistant functions became visible and have already been further

explored within the R&D project.

Professor Peters appointed to the Editorial Board of the journal Electronic Markets

Professor Peters was appointed to the Editorial Board of the academic journal Electronic Markets (VHB rating 2024: B journal) in December.

Professor Peters appointed to the Research Committee of MÜNCHNER KREIS

After many years as a participant in the working groups of MÜNCHNER KREIS, Professor Peters was admitted in 2025 as a professorial member and then, in November 2026, admitted to the Research Committee of MÜNCHNER KREIS at the general assembly.

Agile Project Management with LEGO: Training for Bundeswehr Information Security Officers

Our Chair of Information Systems, especially Digital Process Management, recently had the pleasure of welcoming the Chief Information Security Officer of the Bundeswehr, Guido Schulte, as well as others responsible for information security within the Bundeswehr, as part of a training visit to the Universität der Bundeswehr München. In a LEGO LeSS workshop, the participants practiced applying scaled agile methods.
