AIMS-Salon „AI and Contemporary Security Issues“

11 May 2026

The Chair of Information Systems, especially Digital Process Management, was represented at the latest Artificial Intelligence meets Security (AIMS) Salon on “AI and Contemporary Security Issues.” The event brought together representatives from the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, and the NATO School Oberammergau.

In a five-minute Ignite Talk, Samuel Kühnel and Immanuel Klein presented our approach to human-centered, speech-based process modeling and discussed why it may also be relevant for security and defense contexts.

The salon provided interesting insights into current security-related issues in the context of artificial intelligence, as well as valuable starting points for further discussions and potential future collaborations.
