Agile Project Management with LEGO: Training for Bundeswehr Information Security Officers

Our Chair of Information Systems, especially Digital Process Management, recently had the pleasure of welcoming the Chief Information Security Officer of the Bundeswehr, Guido Schulte, as well as others responsible for information security within the Bundeswehr, as part of a training visit to the Universität der Bundeswehr München. In a LEGO LeSS workshop, the participants practiced applying scaled agile methods. Using agile principles and the challenge of building a resilient, high-quality smart city with LEGO in short iterations, they explored collaboration in agile projects based on the LeSS framework and put typical roles, artefacts, and events into practice. The workshop combined methodological foundations with an interactive, playful format and offered participants the opportunity to design and discuss the relationship between agile project work and information security in a concrete way.
