Sarah Prange M.Sc.

Sarah Prange ist Doktorandin in der Gruppe Usable Security and Privacy. Ihre Forschungsinteressen konzentrieren sich auf benutzbare Sicherheit und Privatsphäre im Kontext von Smart Homes. "Smarte" Geräte halten zunehmend Einzug in das Zuhause ihrer Nutzer sowie zunehmend Zugriff auf persönliche, sensitive Daten. Allerdings bieten solche Geräte oft nicht die nötigen Inputmodalitäten für konventionelle Authentifizierungsmechanismen (wie z.B. sichere Passwörter). Im Rahmen ihrer Forschung möchte sie unter anderem neue, skalierbare und vor allem alltagstaugliche Authentifizierungsmechanismen für smarte Zuhauses entwickeln.

Außerdem interessiert sie sich sehr für UX Design, maschinelles Lernen und dessen Anwendung in der Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion, Interaktion mit Smartphones, Prototyping, Fotografie und Bildbearbeitung.

 

Kurzbiographie

Sarah Prange ist seit Dezember 2017 Doktorandin in der Gruppe für benutzbare Sicherheit von Prof. Dr. Florian Alt, zunächst im Rahmen eines Forschungsprojektes an der Hochschule München. Sie hat ihren Bachelor (2012-2015) und Master of Science (2015-2017) in Medieninformatik an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München abgeschlossen. Dort ist auch ihre Promotion eingeschrieben.
