Yasmeen Essam Abdrabou Mahmoud M.Sc.
Yasmeen Abdrabou is a Ph.D. student at Bundeswehr University Munich. Her reserach combines HCI and usable security. In particular, she focuses on the use of eye gaze to enhance security mechanisms, including and not limited to gaze behavior in security-related situations and personal identification. She has also worked in the affective computing field where we used biosignals to detect some emotions from commercial sensors.
Short Bio
She has an M.Sc in computer science and a B.Sc in digital media engineering. She is also the secertary of the Cairo ACM SIGCHI professional chapter (CairoCHI). Previously, she had a position as an assistant lecturer at the GUC. Before her academic career, she worked as a software engineer for TieTec Co. Egypt and she did a practical training at Intel Labs Egypt.
