4. Withdrawal and Missed Course Sessions (Summer Courses)

4.1 General Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal from course participation is possible up to one working day before the course begins for verifiable official-duty reasons or scheduling conflicts related to studies. For private circumstances, illness, accidents, deaths, and similar events, the participant bears the risk of non-attendance.

• Withdrawal must in all cases be communicated by email to sprachweiterbildung@unibw.de no later than one working day before the course begins. Since Saturday is not considered a working day at Uni Bw M, for courses beginning on Monday, Friday is considered the last working day before the course starts.
• If withdrawal is made in due time, any course fee already transferred will be refunded in full at the earliest possible opportunity. No fees will be charged.
• If withdrawal is not made in due time by the last working day before the first course session, the full course fee becomes payable and is non-refundable.

4.2 Missed Course Sessions / Cancellation of Classes

No refund is possible for missed course sessions, regardless of the reason for the participant’s absence.

If a session is canceled due to illness of the instructor, a make-up session will be arranged. If this is not possible, a proportional refund of the course fee will be granted.
