5. Regulations for Online-Courses

5.1 Obligations of Participants

Participants agree to attend the course online if this teaching mode was announced at the time of registration.

Participants are responsible for having a suitable device and internet connection which is needed to fully participate in the video conferences ready.

Participants should test the proper function of the conferencing tool required for their respective course on their device ahead of time. For this purpose, either the course administration or the teacher will provide information before the course starts as to which conferencing tool will be used.

5.2 Consquences of Technical Difficulties

In case of difficulties with the device or internet connection on the participant’s side preventing them from normal participation in their online-course, no responsibilities arise on the education provider’s end to compensate for missed lessons in any form.

Should lessons not take place due to technical difficulties on the teacher’s side, either an alternative date can be provided to make up for the class or a partial refund of the course fee can be made.

5.3 Effect of Technical Difficulties on Cancellation Regulations

There are no exceptions to the cancellation deadlines as stated under #4.
