Research at the Professorship for High Frequency Technology and Mobile Communication mainly focuses on designing new antenna systems and HF/microwave circuits for beamforming, MIMO and antenna diversity as part of satellite and mobile phone systems in vehicles.
Current projects include:
- Antenna arrays for satellite communication,
- Antenna diversity for satellite navigation, satellite radio, and vehicle communication at 6 GHz,
- Compact MIMO antennas and arrays for 5G mobile communications up to 30 Ghz, and
- New construction technologies and materials for compact antenna structures.
