Study Trips, 2006-2014

Since spring 2006, Professor Khan has held a chair in Public, European, and International Law at the Department of Social Sciences and Public Affairs. From the very beginning, he has placed a particular focus on helping students experience the relevance of academic teaching through international contacts. Together with various colleagues (including Professor Masala, Professor Fassbender, and Dr. Rizinik), Professor Khan organized a series of study trips between 2006 and 2014 to places in Europe which have played an important role in international and European law.  A selection of impressions from these trips can be seen below.

Even after the introduction of the academic research and study trip format in 2015, smaller tours have repeatedly taken place, such as with Professor Binder (Vienna, 2017) and Professor Lindner (Verdun, 2019).
