Workshop "Two ways to steer cybersecurity research"
The European Commission wants to strengthen the digital sovereignty of all member states and their citizens. To achieve this goal, a European Competence Center and a network of National Coordination Centers for Cybersecurity (NKCS) have been established. These centers are intended to pool and strengthen the promotion of research, innovation, and developments in cybersecurity. The NKCS supports the community in gaining access to these European funds. At the same time, however, the NKCS also aims to establish a national network and support the European Commission in developing its strategic agenda through research proposals from the community. This year's workshop therefore aims to highlight both aspects of how to become active in the field of cybersecurity research. On the one hand, by submitting your own applications and engaging in networking activities as a beneficiary of funding, but also by helping to shape research and development through reviewer, evaluator, or expert activities on behalf of the European Commission. So join us in helping to shape the cybersecurity research landscape!
Many thanks to all those involved.
