Dr. Annamarie Bindenagel-Šehovic is a Research Fellow at PAIS at the University of Warwick. Her research explores the trajectory of health responses overall and to HIV in particular within the frame of human security. It focuses on the articulation of health rights, the invocation of such nationally and globally. Through the EL-CSID project she is working on tracking knowledge transfer on the individual, state and global levels in the provision of health(care). Prior to coming to Warwick, Dr. Šehovi? was a lecturer in international relations at the University of Erfurt, Germany, and as the founder of Bindenagel Consulting, cc, spent years in South Africa working with the African Institute of Corporate Citizenship, BenchMarks Foundation, Daimler, the University of Pretoria's Center for the Study of AIDS, and others. She earned her PhD at the FU Berlin in 2016; her MA in Public Policy at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2006, and her BA (honors) at the University of Notre Dame in the U.S.A. in 2003.
