Our new article "Employing Continuous Integration inspired workflows for benchmarking of scientific software — A use case on numerical cut element quadrature" was recently published open-access in the journal Advances in Engineering Software. The paper is a joint work in collaboration with Institute of Applied Mechanics from TU Graz and the Chair of Fluid Dynamics from TU Darmstadt.

The paper deals with the application of workflows based on the concept of Continuous Integration (CI) for benchmarking scientific software. The numerical integration of cut elements—a typical task within immersed methods—is discussed as an example use case. An accompanying open-source code has been published.
