CSE Colloquium presentation by Richard Oswald

2 May 2024

On May 2, 2024, the third lecture of the year took place as part of the Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) research colloquium organized by Professors Apel, Brünig, Kiendl, and Popp. Prof. Richard Ostwald, from the Chair of Solid Mechanics at Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg, presented a detailed talk on the subject.

"Resource efficiency through modern mechanics – a journey from material microstructure to process simulations".

The subsequent discussion and Q&A session confirmed the audience's keen interest in the engaging presentation. Following the event, organizers, speakers, and participants gathered at a local restaurant for a social get-together.

The CSE colloquium takes place regularly. Invitations to upcoming lectures in the CSE research colloquium series are sent out via email in advance.
