CSE Colloquium presentation by Alessio Gizzi

On November 14, 2024, the fourth lecture of the year took place as part of the Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) research colloquium organized by Professors Apel, Brünig, Kiendl, and Popp.

Alessio Gizzi, Associate Professor of Solid and Structural Mechanics at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, gave a detailed presentation on the subject

"Active biomechanics: Nonlocality and multiphysics modeling".

The subsequent discussion and Q&A session confirmed the audience's keen interest in the engaging presentation. Prior to the talk, Prof. Gizzi had already engaged in numerous conversations with institute members regarding their current projects.
