US Institute of Navigation announces standard for GNSS software

5 April 2018

The US Institute of Navigation announces a standard for GNSS software receivers. Our institute has been heavily involved in the development of the standard to facilitate GNSS signal exchange between various research groups, institutions and companies. This will foster research in this area of signal processing and allow a wider range of application for software radio technology.

Until 31st of December comments to further improve the standard are sought.

The standard and exemplary C++ code can be found at sdr.ion.org where also feedback and comments can be entered.
