During their work with the Soben/Fludicon quarter car test bench, Jürgen Pannek and Johannes Michael implemented a general user interface. The GUI is written in C++ using Qt and interfaces with all actuators and sensors of the test bench. It allows to generate, save and load street actuations which are sent to the road actuator at the test bench in realtime. The resulting sensor data is displayed in comparison plots. Additionally, the GUI allows to compute optimal controls for the proactive damping system of the test bench. This control can be implemented directly through the GUI, which also allows to compare predicted and measured results.
