Lindah Achieng Ouma is a study coordinator and a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Cultural Studies, Universität der Bundeswehr München since December 2023. She is also responsible for building cooperation between the Institute and African universities. Her work involves identifying areas of mutual interest and developing collaborations that promote cross-cultural dialogue, knowledge exchange, and research partnerships.
Lindah earned her B. A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Having developed a keen interest in politics, Lindah pursued a Master of Arts in Governance and Public Policy at the University of Passau in Germany. During her time in Passau, Lindah served as a student assistant and later as a research associate for the Chair of International Politics, where she contributed to research on topics such as peace and security in Africa, political silence of colonial atrocities, sustainable foreign policy, and the European Union relations to Africa.
