DE Stefan Küttenbaum ist Leiter der Arbeitsgruppe “Kritische Infrastrukturen” an der Professur für Massivbau und arbeitet seit 2024 am Institut für Konstruktiven Ingenieurbau. Seine aktuellen Forschungsschwerpunkte sind die Resilienz von Infrastrukturen, digitale Zwillinge und die inspektionsgestützte Bewertung von Bauwerken.
EN Stefan Küttenbaum is leader of the research group “critical infrastructures” at the chair of concrete structures and has been working as a PostDoc in the field of digital twins at the Institute for Structural Engineering since 2024. He is a civil engineer and was awarded his doctorate by the Universität der Bundeswehr München in 2021. His current research field includes the inspection-supported assessment of infrastructures. Stefan’s previous activities at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) were focused on the inspection and evaluation of concrete structures, non-destructive testing and uncertainty quantification. He previously worked as a project engineer at Deutsche Bahn.
