The Institute for Technical Product Development (ITPE) constantly strives to establish, maintain, and expand contacts with external partners such as companies, institutes, and societies.
New findings can only be validated by taking real application scenarios into account. The transfer of knowledge and expertise into practical applications is therefore another focus of the institute alongside basic research and thus an essential part of our DNA.
What form can such cooperation take? There are many ways in which you can cooperate with the Institute for Technical Product Development ITPE:
- Joint supervision of interns (we assist in selecting suitable individuals and topics)
- Joint supervision of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral theses (we are happy to suggest suitable individuals and assist in defining suitable topics)
- Supervision of external doctoral candidates within the framework of cooperation and research projects
- Supervision of research assistants in third-party funded projects, funded by public funding bodies, with industrial participation if applicable
- Supervision of research assistants in third-party funded projects, funded by industrial partners
Such collaborations offer companies particular benefits through their proximity to the latest scientific findings and results. Depending on the form of collaboration chosen, there is also the possibility of exclusivity of knowledge and expertise.
