Prof. Dr. Michael Koch has studied Informatics at TU München and has received his doctorate in Informatics (PhD) from the same University. After spending some time at Xerox Research Centre Europe and finishing a Habilitation in Informatics (again at TU München) he is now teaching at Bundeswehr University München where he is leading the Cooperation Systems Center Munich. His focus in research and teaching is in the interdisciplinary and praxis-oriented support of collaboration in teams, communities and networks - and in this field particularly aspects of requirements engineering and system introduction, software architecture for interoperability and ubiquitous user interfaces. He is chair of the special interest group on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work in the German Computer Society (GI).
