Successful completion of Tobias Koch's doctoral thesis

On Monday, February 2nd, Tobias Koch (DLR) successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled ‘Resilient Airport Systems: Integrating Model-Based Analysis with Simulation for Blackout and Cyber Attack Response’.
In his 30-minute presentation, Tobias Koch provided insights into his research on resilient airport systems and showed how model-based analyses and simulations can help prepare for blackouts and cyber attacks. This was folllowed by a one hour long examination held by the reviewers Silja Hoffmann, Alexander Popp, Michael Schultz and Andreas Deutschmann.

After successfully passing the examination, Tobias Koch was presented with his doctoral hat before the afternoon came to a close with a buffet of snacks and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.
