Webinar (EN)

18. 06. 2020 | 10.00 Uhr - 11.30 Uhr

The Corona Pandemic is a global challenge that all countries and all world regions have to face. Yet, the national and regional approaches to overcome the crisis differ significantly. In addition, there is a growing uncertainty as to how the world may change after the end of the pandemic. Dr. Uri Resnick, Director of Policy Planning at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Stephan Stetter, Professor for International Politics and Conflict Studies at the Bundeswehr University Munich, will discuss the current global situation due to the Corona pandemic and its effects on international politics. Will there be repercussions on international cooperation, trade, or security relations? Or a shift from multilateralism to nationalism – or the other way around? The talk will be in English and hosted by Dr. Julie Grimmeisen, Academic Director at the Israeli Consulate General in Munich.
