Since professorial appointments are of great significance for the strategic orientation and further development of the University, the underlying procedures are the responsibility of the President. The appointment procedures of the Bundeswehr University Munich are characterized by fairness and transparency in all phases and aim to attract a wide range of applicants. has been Professor of Design and CAD at the Institute of Design and Production Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences since September 1, 2018.

has held the professorship in Digital Marketing and Media Innovation in the Department of Business Administration since September 1, 2018. In his teaching and research, Prof. Rauschnabel focuses on technological and media innovations in digital marketing.

has been Professor of Data Protection and Compliance at the Research Institute for Cyber Defense (CODE) in the Department of Computer Science since June 1, 2018. The focus of his research is on the technological implementation of data protection, including with regard to informational self-determination.
