Two-day workshop for Advanced doctoral candidates and early postdoctoral researchers who plan on continuing their career in research and need to develop a funding strategy.

Content and aim of the workshop
Taking an international perspective, this workshop explores the challenges and perspectives of developing a sustainable career in research. It helps to assess the current position as an early career researcher, to clarify career aspirations as well as longer-term research goals and to develop a road map for achieving them in the individual setting.
The workshop also provides essential guidance on exploiting research funding opportunities effectively at the postdoctoral stage. Participants will learn how to apply strategy tools to develop their research agenda, identify a portfolio of funding opportunities to be pursued in the coming years and manage the grant life cycle systematically to build their resources and capabilities in an increasingly competitive research environment.
