Advice and mediation


In order to improve the ombuds services offered at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, each department selects additional advisory staff to provide support in matters of academic and scientific integrity specifically for young scientists in their own respective department. All discussions and concerns will be kept strictly confidential.

The role of these academic integrity advisors includes:

  • advice on issues of good scientific practice in the context of a doctorate or habilitation
  • conflict management and mediation for doctoral candidates and postdocs
  • mediation in scientific conflicts
  • annual anonymized reports to the University Senate
  • ongoing development and improvement of ombuds services offered at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich
