Vito Dantona

Vito Dantona was born in Policoro, Italy.

He received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2003 and 2006 respectively. He was exchange student at Technische Universität München from October 2003 to September 2004.

During his M.Sc. thesis he worked at Siemens Corporate Technology on scalable video coding algorithms. From 2006 to 2009 he was a DSP Engineer with Azcom Technology, developing physical layer firmware for Nokia Siemens Networks and STMicroelectronics.

He joined the Institute for Communications Engineering of the Universität der Bundeswehr in July 2009 and his research interests include the application of MIMO technologies to Satellite Communications.
