Prof. Peters Successfully Represented at WI 2025 

Prof. Dr. Christoph Peters represented the Universität der Bundeswehr München in various ways at the 20th International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI 2025) in Münster.

WI 2025 is the leading conference for Information Systems in the German-speaking world. It serves as a central platform for exchange between academia, industry, and emerging young researchers, and celebrates its 20th edition in 2025—returning once again to its original venue, the University of Münster. Prof. Peters’ Activities in the Conference Program 

 

Track Chair – Track 13 “Service Systems Design and Management”

Together with several colleagues, Prof. Peters served as Track Chair for the “Service Systems Design and Management” track. In this role, he oversaw the scientific program, coordinated the review process, and was responsible for the thematic focus of the track. (Track description)

 

Workshop Organization – Workshop 4 “Design Methods for Service Ecosystems in the Age of AI”

In addition, Prof. Peters co-organized a workshop at WI 2025: “Design Methods for Service Ecosystems in the Age of AI,” which explored innovative approaches to designing service ecosystems in the age of artificial intelligence. (Workshop details)

 

Conference Paper

Together with David Sonnabend and Dr. Mahei Li, Prof. Peters published the following paper: 

Sonnabend, D.; Li, M. M.; & Peters, C. (2025): LLMs for Intelligent Automation – Insights from a Systematic Literature Review. In: 20th International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI). Münster, Germany. 

The paper analyzes and systematically categorizes the applications and potentials of Large Language Models (LLMs) in the context of intelligent automation. 

As a novelty at WI 2025, this paper is also accompanied by a genAI-generated podcast that provides an audio summary of the paper, enhancing the accessibility of its content. (Paper podcast)
