Leuven Isogeny Days 5

Two researchers from the QuSAC lab (Marzio Mula and Sebastian Spindler) attended the 5th installment of the Isogeny Days in Leuven (Belgium) from 11 to 13 September 2024. The main themes discussed in the talks and in the brainstorming sessions revolve around the use of higher-dimensional abelian varieties, generalized pairings, and quaternion algebras for both constructive and destructive purposes in isogeny-based protocols.

Top Reviewer Award at ACM CCS 2023

Prof. Dr. Daniel Slamanig was honored with a Top Reviewer Award at the 30th ACM SIGSAC Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS 2023), which is taking place from November 26th to 30th in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Establishment of the QuSAC Lab

Prof. Dr. Daniel Slamanig joined the Research Institute CODE and the Department of Computer Science at the Universität der Bundeswehr München on November 1 2023 as Full Professor of Cryptology. At RI CODE he established the Quantum Safe & Advanced Cryptography (QuSAC) Lab. Upon his appointment Prof. Slamanig gave an interview (in German) where he talks about his research and future plans.
