PrivCrypt 2026 @ EUROCRYPT 2026
20 May 2026
Together with Lucjan Hanzlik (CISPA) and Tjerand Silde (NTNU), Daniel Slamanig co-organized the PrivCrypt 2026 last week in Rome, co-affiliated with Eurocrypt 2026! It was a pleasure to bring together a fantastic community of over 140 registered participants working on privacy-enhancing cryptography, anonymous credentials, zero-knowledge proofs, post-quantum cryptography, and privacy-preserving systems.
We were especially grateful for the excellent keynote talks by:
• Stefano Tessaro on anonymous credentials from BBS signatures
• Anja Lehmann on challenges in anonymous credentials for the EUDI wallet
• Gregor Seiler on post-quantum zero-knowledge proofs and applications
• Sofia Celi on zero-knowledge authorization systems and age verification
In addition, the contributed talks and discussions throughout the day made for an exciting and highly engaging program. The strong participation and feedback clearly showed the growing interest in privacy-enhancing cryptography and its real-world applications.
A sincere thank you to all speakers, participants, and supporters for contributing to such a great atmosphere and workshop.
We are excited to continue PrivCrypt next year and look forward to building on this momentum!
