PQCrypto 2026

20 April 2026

From April 14th to April 16th Sebastian Spindler attended the 17th edition of the PQCrypto conference, which was held in Saint-Malo. The conference program covered a wide range of recent advances in post quantum cryptography, such as new signature scheme constructions, the cryptanalysis of both various security assumptions and some concrete constructions, as well as talks about quantum security and the general design of protocols in view of the ongoing transition to post quantum cryptography.

At the conference Sebastian presented the QuSAC group’s newly published paper “On the Use of Atkin and Weber Modular Polynomials in Isogeny Proofs of Knowledge”, which builds on last year’s CRYPTO paper “More Efficient Isogeny Proofs of Knowledge via Canonical Modular Polynomials”. To close out his presentation, Sebastian also advertised the recently published preprint “SPRINT: New Isogeny Proofs of Knowledge and Isogeny-Based Signatures”, a collaboration of the QuSAC group with Shai Levin and Robi Pedersen that improves significantly on the state of the art of zero-knowledge proofs for isogeny paths.
