AFK Workshop in Denmark

This year the "Empirical Research on Peace and Conflict" workshop (September 29-30, 2022) of the German Association for Peace and Conflict Studies (AFK) was organized by the Aarhus University and took place in Sonderborg (Denmark). The workshop aimed to promote exchange and networking among peace and conflict scholars with a focus on qualitative and quantitative methods. Three members of the Center for Crisis Early Warning, Julian Walterskirchen, Christian Oswald and Sonja Häffner, presented their respective research projects and received valuable feedback from the workshop participants. They were also able to gain an overview of current developments in the field of empirical conflict research.
