Second CPM Lab Instance Successfully Set Up at UniBw Munich

This new instance complements the existing CPM Lab, which is primarily used for research purposes. The second instance is dedicated to presentations and teaching, providing an additional, flexible environment for demonstrations, courses, and knowledge transfer.

The setup was completed last Friday in just a few hours, highlighting both the robustness of the CPM Lab concept and the smooth collaboration involved in the installation process.

With two fully operational CPM Lab instances now in place, UniBw Munich is even better equipped to support cutting-edge research as well as high-quality teaching and presentation activities.

New video on the CPM Lab!

The CPM Lab is an open-source, remotely accessible testbed for Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAVs). It supports research in multi-agent decision-making using a digital twin and a fleet of real and virtual µCars — and has already been replicated at other universities.

In this talk, new algorithms for developing data-driven reachability analysis from input/output data with formal guarantees are presented. The proposed algorithms support the inclusion of side information in the form of temporal logic to reduce the conservativeness of reachable sets. Subsequently, the effectiveness of the algorithms is presented using an application.
