08:30: Promotion service in the University Church
09:00 - 17:00: Open house (with exhibition)
10:00 - 11:00: Promotion roll call
09:00 - 22:00: Festival tent operation parallel to the events

Highlights

  • Insight into the current research and facilities of the faculties at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich with their institutes
  • Hands-on activities with various exhibitors, including the fire department, the sports center (shooting and climbing), the language center, etc.
  • Children's program with bouncy castle, face painting and sports activities
  • Rides in military vehicles (MULTI II, Dingo, Eagle)
  • Presentation of different flight simulators and the opportunity to hop inside the simulator
  • Flyover of a light transport helicopter of the Bundeswehr
  • Festival tent with music (the university's big band and the "Unterbiberger Hofmusik")

How to get there

Please note: It is not possible to park on the premises of the university. Please use the shuttle service or travel by public transport.

Shuttle service

On 24 June 2023, there will be a continuous shuttle service from 08:00 to 17:00 and a regular shuttle service from 17:00 to 23:00 between the campus of the University of the Bundeswehr Munich and the following stations:

Airbus: Hugo-Junkers-Straße, 85521 Taufkirchen (Airbus PARKING South)
Campeon (Infineon): Am Campeon 1-15, 85579 Neubiberg, Germany
Subway stop Neuperlach Süd

Please note that dogs are not allowed on the shuttle.

Public transport

The line U5 (subway) and the line S7 (suburban train) go to the stop "Neuperlach Süd". From there, bus lines 199 (direction Neubiberg, Campeon West) and 217 (direction Unterhaching Bf.) go directly to the bus stop "Lilienthalstraße". From there, it is only a few meters to the pedestraian gate (Northern gate) onto the grounds of the University of the Bundeswehr Munich.
