BizInk 2011 - Business Wettbewerb für BSc.-Studierende

Die kolumbianische Universität EAFIT in Medellin führt im April und Juni 2011 einen Wettbewerb für BSc.-Studierende durch. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Business Simulation "Global View" des Herstellers Association Global View.

Universidad EAFIT in Medellin Colombia cordially invites you to participate in the BizInk experience this September of 2011. BizInk is the only Latin American, English-Spanish bilingual Undergraduate business student competition of its kind, consisting in an on-line Simulation phase followed by a face-to-face competition.

By means of the Global View Advanced Business Simulation provided by Association Global View, teams of 4 undergraduate students create and manage a virtual, multinational company.  Participants acquire a comprehensive perspective of the organization while working as a team to develop business strategy in all functional areas including accounting, finance, supply chain management, production, logistics and international physical distribution, research and  development, marketing, and administration.
After six rounds of on-line decision-making, teams will compete in the face-to face challenge on the EAFIT campus where they will participate in fast paced social, logistical, marketing and financial challenges involving real companies.

How to participate:
Students from universities all over the world must form groups of four and participate in a Global View virtual simulation where they will have to manage their own company.
Registration is from April 10th to April 23rd and has a cost of $200 Dollars US per team.
The simulation will take place the 23rd of April to the 10th of June.
The top 8 groups will receive an invitation for the physical competition in Medellín, Colombia from September 14th to the 17th.
Travel and lodging expenses are not included.
