The Management Committee

The Management Committee ensures effective cooperation between the different areas of the Universität der Bundeswehr München. It is made up of the President, the Vice-Presidents, the Provost and the Military Director of the Student Division (with an advisory function).
The Management Committee manages the day-to-day business of the University, drafts outlines of university policy objectives and, together with the University Council, develops initiatives with a view to the University’s future development. To this end, it may make suggestions affecting the University Statutes. Furthermore, with the help of the University Council, the Committee makes proposals concerning the budget. It decides on the allocation of posts, funds and dormitory rooms at the Universität der Bundeswehr München. Its tasks also include appointing members of the permanent commissions and electoral bodies.
The members of the Management Committee assume an advisory function in the Senate and the Administrative Council, whereas the President has a vote.
