Quarter Car Testbench
The quarter car testbench allows to investigate chassis control tasks. The testbench contains a semi-active electro-rheologic damper that allows to adjust the damper characteristics dynamically. It can be used to develop optimal damping strategies for the drive on uneven roads.

The movie on the left shows a random excitation of the wheel with fixed damper characteristics. The movie in the middle shows an excitation by periodic pulses while the damper characteristics are changed over time (observe the bouncing of the wheel). The movie on the right shows again a random excitation while the damper characteristics are changed over time.
