Location

The Joint Workshop on DSS, Experimental Economics & e-PARTICIPATION will take place at the ReSoWi Zentrum (see second picture above) of the Karl-Franzens Universität Graz, Universitätsstr. 15/E3, 8010-Graz, Austria. (Info: http://www.kfunigraz.ac.at/)
Graz is the second largest city in Austria with approximately 250,000 inhabitants. It is the best preserved medieval city centres in Central Europe, and it charmingly combines a longstanding historical tradition with the young flair of an university town.
Graz was the cultural capital of Europe in 2003. It has a wonderful historic city centre (UNESCO cultural heritage!), as well as an interesting supply of cultural events and leisure-time. (Info about Graz: http://www.graztourismus.at/)

There are many turistic places to visit in Graz. Some of them are: the Rathaus (the town hall); the Zeughaus (the provincial armoury); the Bubble Kunsthaus (Contemporary Art Gallery); the Gothic Cathedral; the Baroque Mausoleum; the Schloßberg (the hill which rises up 473m above the roofscape of the city), where you can visit the Uhrturm (the clock tower on the Schloßberg); the Opera House; and the Schloß Eggenberg, a 17th- century palace situated in a beautiful park.
